First Lady Spotted In New York As Controversy After Controversy Engulfs White House

On Wednesday, astonished New York bystanders and journalists were caught gawking as the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, sashayed out of Trump Tower, New York City, and stepped into a black SUV. Until this sighting, journalists had no idea that Mrs. Trump was in New York City, let alone staying at Trump Tower. The sighting comes just two weeks after Mrs. Trump’s highly publicized move into the Executive Residence of the White House.

Mrs. Trump did not initially move into the White House, deciding to stay with her son, Barron, while he finished the school year in New York City. However, 11-year-old Barron was nowhere to be found in Mrs. Trump’s latest stay in the Big Apple.

Mrs. Trump was only just noticed by the ever-present mob of journalists lurking around Trump Tower, photographing her as she entered the SUV. Despite the intolerable 80-degree heat, Mrs. Trump’s fashion sense was as glamorous as always, with the First Lady wearing a luxurious cashmere coat. After noticing the photographers, Mrs. Trump quickly pulled on a pair of oversized sunglass, but the press had already recognized her.

Despite much speculation, it remains unclear why Mrs. Trump was in New York City. Across social media and online discussion boards, thousands of people are still discussing possible reasons why Mrs. Trump left the capital. Some of the most popular theories include: meetings with Barron’s teachers, attending a philanthropic meeting or gala and, even, meeting her hairdresser appointments.

However, the photographs of the First Lady provide no further details about her trip. The last images show Mrs. Trump, escorted by Secret Service personnel, driving away in her SUV to join a motorcade of several other vehicles.

The sighting of Mrs. Trump comes at a rocky time for the Trump Administration. The media networks have been slamming President Trump on all fronts. One particularly popular and bizarre story is that, while attending a White House event for the World Series champions, Albert Almora Jr., a famous Chicago Cubs player, gave the finger to the commander-in-chief.

However, this story is overshadowed by two far more troublesome news pieces, with President Trump being accused of misogyny and delusions after he complimented an Irish reporter and cyber-attacked MSNBC hosts.

While talking on the phone with Ireland’s newly elected and first gay Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar, President Trump said, “Well, we have a lot of your Irish press watching us. They're just now leaving the room.” However, during the call, the president began gesturing at a female reporter, Caitriona Perry, asking her: “And where are you from? Go ahead, come here. Where are you from? We have all of this beautiful Irish press. Where are you from?” The final nail in the coffin was when the president returned to his call with the Irish Prime Minister, conspiratorially declaring: “I bet she treats you well.”

Now, after a series of angry tweets about the hosts of ‘Morning Joe’, the president and his administration are being engulfed in another public relations nightmare. Representatives and Senators from both sides of the floor have condemned the Tweet, which read: “I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”
