Police Release Disturbing Materials Confiscated From Michael Jackson's Ranch

The late 'King of Pop', Michael Jackson, suffered from a tarnished reputation after he was accused of molesting children in the early 1990's. Though much controversy swirled, and the international star settled several cases out of court, Jackson was never indicted and maintained his innocence until he died.

Police have occasionally released items that they found on raids of Jackson's home, Neverland Ranch, and the most recent batch of items released reportedly contained a large collection of pornographic materials.

Police say the materials came from the bedroom and bathroom of Jackson's ranch from a 2003 search. The items include a large amount of pornography that featured nude men and women, which, authorities say, could be used to groom young children for molestation.

The collection included at least seven collections that featured nude teenage males. One collection, says court documents, contains 'nude photos of teenage boys from late 1800s'.

"He also had disgusting and downright shocking images of child torture, adult and child nudity, and sadomasochism," said an investigator.

"The documents exposed Jackson as a manipulative, drug-and-sex-crazed predator who used blood, gore, sexually explicit images of animal sacrifice and perverse adult sex acts to bend children to his will," said an investigator, according to Radar Online.

The investigator explains, "Based on my training, this type of material can be used as part of the "grooming" process, by which people (those seeking to molest children) lower the inhibitions of their intended victims and facilitate the molestation of said victims."

At the time of the search, Jackson was in Las Vegas. The search prompted an arrest warrant to be issued for Jackson, and the singer turned himself in when he got back to California.

Though many still defend the singer and at least one child whose parents accused Jackson of sexually abusing the boy came forward in recent years as an adult to say he was made to lie by his father, the question of the father of three's innocence has not yet been laid to rest.

"We identified five different boys, who all made allegations of sexual abuse. There’s not much question in my mind that Michael was guilty of child molestation," said the investigator.

One of the young accusers was able to perfectly identify marks on Jackson's buttocks, penis, and testicles. Police subjected Jackson to a strip search to see if the boy's description was accurate.

Jackson was facing up to 20 years in prison but settled with the boy's family for $22 million and criminal charges were dropped.

When the allegations began, Jackson didn't help his public image by giving an interview in which he admitted that he enjoyed having young boys sleep over in his own bed. Jackson insisted there was nothing criminal going on with the boys, however, it was a comment that made many adults feel uncomfortable.

Jackson died in 2009 and had never been convicted of child molestation, and his family members still deny the allegations, including his three children who he raised as a single father.
